“To preserve the legacy of the life, love and music of Jason M. Nesbit, Singer/Songwriter, native to Vero Beach, Florida, who lost his battle to cancer in 2018". At the time of his passing, he was attending Maryville University to become a music therapist. Unfortunately he lost his battle with cancer before graduating, fortunately his wife, Jennifer, was able to walk and complete his graduation. His passion was music, family, raising his kids, and helping out kids who were fighting cancer. NezFest Music Festival began in 2019 to continue supporting Jason’s passion for music (his songs are played each year at the festival) and his mission to help families affected by financial challenges, created by unexpected severe illness or cancer”. NezFest became NezFest Non-Profit, Corp. in 2022 which opened the door to start growing. On top of financial support, our mission is to give out music scholarships, lessons and instruments to local families in need.
